Evening of Hope will have a gallery of art by children and an auction featuring Southern Nevada's finest culinary artists and entertainment to raise awareness of and funding for children battling cancer. You can celebrate childhood cancer heroes with passed bites and libations at this fundraiser for Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada, celebrating 40 years of service.
The Nevada School of the Arts will hold their 40th anniversary gala at Red Rock Resort on March 10, starting at 5:00. There will be music from NSA Encore Award Recipients Frankie Moreno, Clint Holmes, Philip Fortenberry and others. Honorees will be Patrick Duffy (donor and instigator) and Christy Molasky (performer and sponsor of arts education).

Skye Canyon's third annual 8K Trail Mix and 5K Road Race for runners and walkers of all levels will be held March 10. Races start at Skye Canyon Park. Prizes will be presented to top finishers. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit Create a Change Now, a local non-profit educating at-risk children about health and nutrition.
"Fit Fest" is a family-friendly healthy living themed festival featuring fitness classes and demos, yoga, interactive lifestyle booths, kids activities, healthy cuisine, and a vendor expo with over 30 vendors, with things for sale and/or demonstrations. The fun kicks off with Skye Canyon’s 8K Trail Mix and 5K Road Race at 9 a.m., with the festival area open from 9:30 a.m.to 3 p.m.
The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation will host their 4th annual Fight-4-Fitness in Sunset Park on March 11. There will be a 5K Run, a 2K Walk, a Kids Fun Run and community day. There will be an '80s and '90s theme, so if you go, dress to impress!

The Nevada Site Specific Advisory Board will meet on March 14, starting at 4 p.m., in Las Vegas. Members of the public are invited to attend. The board makes suggestions about cleaning up areas of the former test site.
The Breast Center at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas holds several classes and meetings every month. Included are a breast cancer support group, the young survivor's breast cancer support group, pilates classes for women with breast cancer, yoga classes (including pre-natal), and more.

Famed Irish tenor Paul Byrom, of Celtic Thunder fame, brings his 13-city solo tour "10 Years On" to Las Vegas on March 24. It marks the more than 10 years that he's been performing in the United States. He have pop and classical tunes and many favorite Irish songs, and tell a few stories about his life and career.
The Rape Crisis Center in Las Vegas uses male and female volunteers, ages 21 and over, to assist sexual assault victims. Volunteers assist the staff of the center by answering crisis calls around the clock, making referrals for victims and others who are seeking assistance, and more.
The Springs Preserve's annual environmental science Spring Break Camp will be held March 26-30. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Campers will build a colony on Mars as they explore real issues on Earth. It's for ages 6 to 12.
